In Missouri, the statute of limitations for medical malpractice causing death (wrongful death) is three years. However, the statute of limitations in Missouri for medical malpractice cases not involving death is only two years. In some cases, even where death is involved, but the malpractice was committed by losing the patient’s chance of survival, the statute of limitations is two years.
